Prophecy About Jesus The Messiah
How Jesus - Who Is God Incarnate Arrived Planet Earth
Birth Of Jesus The Messiah – Immanuel (God Is With Us)
Augustus the Roman emperor decreed that a census should be taken throughout the Roman Empire. People had to return to their own ancestral towns to register for the census. Joseph had to go to Bethlehem in Judea, David’s ancient home because he was a descendant of King David. Joseph traveled to Bethlehem from the village of Nazareth in Galilee. He took with him the Virgin Mary, to whom he was engaged; and who was then expecting a Child. While Joseph and the Virgin Mary were there, the time came for her Baby to be born. She gave birth to her firstborn Son. She wrapped Him snugly in strips of cloth and laid Him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them in hotels. (Luke 2:1-7). Jesus was about thirty years old when He began His evangelistic ministry; everyone spoke well of Him and were amazed by the gracious words He spoke. (Luke 3:23; 4:22).

Crucifixion, Death, And Resurrection Of Jesus
- Pilate the Roman Governor realized that the leading priests had arrested Jesus out of envy; despite this fact he turned Jesus over to Roman soldiers to be crucified. The Roman soldiers nailed Jesus to the cross. It was nine o’clock in the morning when they crucified Jesus. People shouted abuse, and mocked Jesus. At noon, darkness fell across the whole land until three o’clock when Jesus died. At three o’clock when Jesus died, the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. (Mark 15:10,15-24, 33-38).
- Joseph of Arimathea, who was a secret disciple of Jesus asked Pilate for permission to take down Jesus’ body. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus wrapped Jesus’ body with spices in long sheets of linen cloth and laid the body of Jesus in a new tomb. (John 19:38-42). This took place on Friday evening.
- Early on Sunday morning Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome went to the tomb where Jesus was buried; they found that the very large stone at the entrance of the tomb had been rolled away. Mary Magdalene remained around the tomb and became the first person to see the resurrected Jesus Christ. Jesus was no longer in the tomb; He had risen from death. Mary remained around the tomb and became the first person to see the resurrected Jesus Christ. She found the disciples and told them that she had seen the Lord Jesus Christ. That Sunday evening of His resurrection, Jesus inadvertently appeared in the room where the disciples were hiding from the Jewish leaders. (John 20:1-23).
